Almost as short as my last entry.

Complete and total overload.
I think that would best categorize my weekend, sadly. I wanted to take the opportunity of an enormous amount of free time in order to play my game City of Heroes and accomplish several goals, but I didn’t pay attention to time and I found myself lost in the game Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday. I played until nearly 1:30 AM Saturday morning, got up around 8 AM, and played until about 3 PM that afternoon, and then Sunday I play for almost literally all day, from around 9 AM to close to 5 PM. Yes, I could have had more productive uses of my time, but I was having a lot of fun.
Plus, I pay $15 a month to play this game. Gotta get my money’s worth.
Time just seemed to skip past, and the hero I was playing was a challenge to play, which was exactly what I wanted in the game. I even played all three days with another player who I kep running into, and so the two of us even had our own strategies, no matter which team we were on. BY far the best team I had, though, was Sunday afternoon when there were 8 of us running around one part of Paragon City engaging huge groups of monsters. We had a perfect balance of offense and defense, and we were doing quite well.
The strangest part of my weekend came when I logged on quickly before I was about to go to bed and saw a character named “AndrewSelf.” That threw me for a bit of a loop, so I inquired with him how he chose his hero’s name. After all, it DID have some meaning for me, as well. It turned out that his first name was Stephen, but his middle and last name are my first and last name. I don’t know why he didn’t choose something more “hero-like” to play, but it was pretty strange nonetheless. How twisted is that?
Sadly, I have nothing else to report. I cleaned most of my bathroom, had some good pasta for dinner Saturday night (spaghetti with sauteed garlic tossed with basil and a loaf of bread), and made hot dogs for dinner Sunday. Yeah, that about wraps it up. When you do little else, you don’t have much to talk about.
But I did have a lot of fun, so that’s all that matter.
