Read The DaVinci Code. That’s pretty much all I have to say.

I’ve known about some of the content of the novel for a bit, and there’s a lot in it I’m not willing to take on (if you’ll pardon the pun) faith alone based on a single work of non-fiction apparently stemming from academic research, though it’s so crazy that it could just be true given my admittedly limited knowledge of the world, history, and the Catholic Church. Again, I’m not willing to accept the entire contents of the novel at face value without verification from other sources or my own experiences, but as I stated, some of what’s in the book I’ve seen before. And it’s pretty fascinating, too.

I made a pizza for dinner tonight on my pizza stone, and it turned out VERY well. The stone gives the crust an extra-satisfying CRUNCH that wasn’t there before, and despite the fact that it’s too small for the whole amount of dough I normally make and had to split it into two separate pizzas, things came out very well. No cheese means extra flavor on the pizza, no ooey-gooeyness to overwhelm the taste of the sauce and other toppings.

So that’s what I did all day, read and cooked, tried a new beer or two. Good day.
