You’d never believe what happened to me last night….

I haven’t been sleeping well in the last week or so, and last night something happened to me that hasn’t happened in a long time: I had a nightmare. I haven’t had one of those in literally years, and the last one that I had didn’t even scare me, but it had aspects that I could consider scary. But see, there isn’t much that scares me anymore. Scary movies certainly don’t. Of all the horror movies I’ve seen in my life, I can only think of maybe three movies that have scraed me since I was a little kid: “The Blair Witch Project,” “Signs,” and “The Ring.” Funny thing is, I come across so many people that didn’t think any of those were scary, but then they find things like “I Know What You Did Last Summer” to be so scary that they can’t finish the movie. I swear.

Anyhow, I don’t really remember much, but I do remember waking up a lot. That I had a nightmare doesn’t bother me, but I’m sort of curious as to what brought it on. The three movies that I mentioned above didn’t give me nightmares, but I had trouble getting to sleep. They made me nervous, that’s all. Trouble getting to sleep, not trouble sleeping. Weird stuff. I wonder what brought it on?

I didn’t go for a jog today. I thought I’d give my knee a rest for a day, though I did use the machine downstairs and did the rest of my routine. I don’t feel quite as a good as I do after a run, but tomorrow I’m headed to my Dad’s house for a few days. I can use the treadmill there and go further than I can on pavement since my knee won’t get as bothered. Plus since I’ll be there for three days (Thursday night, Friday, Saturday, and part of Sunday) I can use the treadmill every day. Maybe I’ll just skip my rest period since I’ll have such a good opportunity to run all weekend.

I’ve got to figure out a movie or two to take over to my Dad’s this weekend, too, since he’s got that fancy new DVD player to mess around with.

That’s about all I can think of for tonight. Not much to say when you don’t get around to doing much. Have a good evening, all.
