Some new pictures for your viewing enjoyment.
February 26, 2003
I told you I’d be back! I’ve actually been doing some more work on the website in the time since I last posted an update, so I’ve got some more pictures for you to see, finally. I actually might have cleared away all my remaining pictures that needed to be posted, at least the ones I can think of and the ones that are in “sets”. I tweaked my web server a bit, too. Turned out for some reason the computer thought it was February of 2001, which I had noticed while digging through my website access logs. Made for determining when traffic peaks a bit hard if the day and year are wrong. Anyhow, here are the pages with the new pictures
Silver Falls
Senior Year People, page 2
Senior Year Dorm Life, page 3
Outside Mother’s House (the two on the bottom)
As always, I tried my best to provide some meaningful commentary, but I probably fell short again. In any case, enjoy.
As for what’s new with me? I’m done with classes until March 10th! My regular Thursday and Friday classes have been canceled this week, so I was done with classes today at 1 PM, and of course, next week is Spring Break. It’s not all good news, though. I had a midterm today in my Quant class, and I know I could have done better than I did. I guess I could have done worse, though. I’m not sure exactly what to expect, but looking at it from a big picture kind of perspective, I have a friend who took it last term, failed both midterms, did well on the final project, and pulled a C in the class. Another friend who lives on my floor says he did pretty poorly but pulled a B in the class. I’ll keep doing my best.
I was supposed to have a midterm tomorrow, too, that I completely blanked on. It was for my Econ Senior Seminar class, and people were talking about it on Tuesday when we got to class, and for a second, I thought it was on TUESDAY, that day, and I almost freaked. I guess I hadn’t been reading far enough ahead in the syllabus. Anyhow, the professor ended up giving the midterm to us as a take-home exam due on Monday morning over Spring Break, so I have a bit of time to pull my thoughts together and review the reading. She doesn’t expect more than about 3-5 pages, either, though we’re free to go as high as we want. Thank goodness for the small things. That makes reading plus a midterm due on Monday, and the first draft of a reasearch paper (plus research!) due on the Friday after break. Yes, I have a bit of work to do over break. No way I could get it done if I went home–to many distractions. Here I’ll have peace and quiet so I can concentrate, and no distractions such as a TV in my room–although there will be one just down the hall…GRRRRR…no, can’t start thinking that way!
OK, just wanted to pop in and throw some pictures at you. Enjoy them, and hav a good rest of the week. I’ll be sleeping in tomorrow and Friday while everyone else here is getting up for classes. Ahhhhh….being a senior has its perks sometimes.
Later.

Hang loose everyone, it’s almost sunglasses weather here again.
